On behalf of the Executive Committee, it is my greatest honour to welcome you all to this historic occasion — our First International Convention. This gathering is more than a convention; it is living proof that a vision born from friendship has grown into a respected international brotherhood. Our journey began with a few friends united by one purpose — to be our brother's keeper — and today we stand together as one family, proving that distance cannot weaken genuine brotherhood.
I especially want to recognise our Pioneer Chairman, Chief Ugorji Chekwube Bethrand, whose visionary leadership laid the foundation upon which we proudly stand today. Sir, your sacrifices, commitment, and belief in this great club continue to inspire us.
To every member who crossed oceans, states, and cities to be here today — your presence speaks louder than words. Thank you for believing in this family, and may God richly bless your journeys and your commitment to Moving Train.
A Promise Kept
When the current executives assumed the responsibility of leading this great organisation in May 2023, following a challenging period in our history, we made a simple promise: to restore unity, strengthen our foundation, and prepare Moving Train for the future.
- We restored peace, mutual respect, and the spirit of genuine brotherhood that defines who we are.
- We introduced the "Ori na Ndu" birthday recognition to celebrate life and appreciate every member.
- We established the ₦1,000,000 Security Equity Initiative, ensuring greater financial stability for our future.
- We continued and strengthened the club's investment culture, building on the visionary initiative introduced during the administration of our Pioneer Chairman.
- We improved our governance, preserved our history, and issued official membership certificates.
- Today, we celebrate another landmark achievement by successfully hosting our First International Convention.
These accomplishments did not happen because of one man; they happened because committed men chose unity over division, service over self, and progress over personal interest.
Moving Forward
A moving train never looks backward — it moves forward with purpose.
As we celebrate today, let us remember that history will not judge us by the titles we held but by the legacy we leave behind. Let this convention mark the beginning of an even greater chapter.
